Tiny Houses Sub-Prime Financing: Advantages
Hearth Financing allows you to be prequalified for a loan without any impact on your credit score. Hearth will send you loan options from their lending partners, provide you with an opportunity to finalize your loan application through the partner of your choice, and you will receive your funds within 1-5 days! The best part? You can have a credit score as low as 580 to receive predictable, monthly funding to pay for your very own tiny house!
No Down Payment: With sub-prime financing on your tiny home, you can receive funds for your purchase within 1-5 days of being finalizing your loan application through Hearth.
No Impact on Credit Score: When you apply for financing through Hearth, there will be no impact on your credit score until you accept an offer from the lending partner of your choice. This means it’s easier for you to explore your options and can make an informed decision in financing your tiny house.
Own Your Building Faster: Most mortgages on houses take at least 25 years to pay off. When you finance your Classic Buildings tiny house through Hearth, you can own your building in 2-10 years!
Lower Interest Rates: Did you know that rent to own interest rates are typically higher than those of sub-prime financing? If your credit score is in good standing, you are likely going to save more money over time with lower rates on sub-prime loans.
At Classic Buildings, we understand that not every customer has the finances available to purchase the tiny house they are dreaming of. That’s why we are happy to offer financing options through Hearth!
Tiny Houses Rent to Own: Disadvantages
Not Owning Your Building: With rent-to-own options for tiny homes, you won’t really own your building until the time of your lease expires. Although it allows you to start living in your home at a lower up-front cost, you typically pay much more for the building over the long-term. In addition to the longer-term costs, renting to own can may also require a significant investment upfront if you have a low credit score. Those with low credit scores should plan for larger investments up-front as well as higher interest rates or monthly payments on their lease.
More Expensive In the Long-Term: Most rent-to-own options will typically result in the customer paying much more for their building over the long-term. In addition to these long-term costs, renting to own can may also require a significant investment upfront if you have a low credit score. Those with low credit scores should plan for larger investments up-front as well as higher interest rates or monthly payments on their lease.

Finishing Your Kitchen and Bathroom
Classic Buildings can provide everything you need for your tiny house and we can make referrals to help you find a local contractor who can do the plumbing and cabinetry to finish off these areas. Depending on your preferences, you could have a custom designed kitchen and bathroom installed for less than $10,000. If you are on a tighter budget or if you enjoy DIY, you could do it for less than $1,000 by sourcing cabinets, doors, and fixtures from bargain and thrift stores such as Habitat for Humanity’s Restore.
Tiny Houses are Environmentally Friendly Too!
Not only are tiny houses friendly on your wallet, but they are also friendly to the environment. A tiny house requires fewer resources to build and it requires less gas and electricity to run. This is one of the reasons that many people who are sensitive to the negative impact that we are having on the world today are choosing a tiny house over a conventional home.
If I have bad credit, can I still qualify?
Hearth can provide payment options for customers with credit scores as low as 580. You can also explore your options and be pre-qualified without any impact on your credit score!
