1. What features come standard on your portable buildings?

The following features are standard on all of Classic Buildings’ portable sheds:

2. What type of roofing do you use?

Our buildings either have a 40-year guaranteed metal roofing or a 30-year shingle roofing. If you have a shed built for you, you can choose which type of roofing you prefer for the same price.

3. Will I have to paint my shed?

At Classic, we use a 25 year, 100% acrylic paint on our buildings which means you probably won’t ever have to paint it. Our paint comes in 18 standard colors and if you are ordering a customized shed, we can even mix a custom color for you to match the color of your home!

4. How much maintenance do your buildings need?

Classic buildings are constructed so well and with such high quality materials that they actually require very little if any maintenance.

5. Will my yard get damaged when you deliver my shed?

We will take the greatest care in delivering your portable building to make sure that there is little or no effect on your property. We have an incredibly versatile piece of equipment that we affectionately call “the Mule” which is able to operate in a very tight turning radius and it is able to lower your shed close to the ground for clearance.

Our highly trained staff can maneuver most buildings into even the tightest of spaces. If you are concerned that you might have a special problem getting your building to the site you would like, then please contact us and we will work with you to try and make it possible.

6. Where are your showrooms located?

Classic Buildings has showrooms located all across the state of Missouri, including Kansas City, Sedalia, Jefferson City, Rolla, Columbia, Linn, St. Charles, and Arnold, as well as Swansea, Illinois.

Will I need a permit for my shed?

Each city or county has different rules and regulations regarding shed permits. Contact your local Classic building specialist and we can help you determine whether or not you will need a permit.
